Im pretty sure I have that map myself somewhere. You need an xs and xml file which is the main part of the map, they go in user-my document-my games-age of empires 3- rm(vanilla) or rm2(warchiefs) or rm3(asian dynasties) depending on which version the map was made for. Those intructions are for the map ui, which shows whilst loading. What do you think? The disc and steam version are the same. But copying the file to that location did not make the map appear in my list of maps inside the game. ddt files from all the other maps already in that folder. The closest thing I have is an extension saying:Ĭ:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Empires III\bin\art\ui\random_map

Player Notes - (Warning: ONLY FOR VERSION 1.01) There is a backup folder in each zip file, to return your old settings just over right the modded files. I would like to install the Random Map "ALASKA". The maps Random Maps only are now 3 times larger for those people who like larger games/maps.
